Melissa was born and raised in Corpus Christi, TX.  She obtained her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University-CC in 2012.  She is a board certifiedFamily Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  

Melissa has over twelve years of experience working with children with various urological conditions in pediatric urology.  She is passionate about helping others and has an extensive background in pediatrics including working in the neonatal ICU and a medical-surgical floor at Driscoll Children’s Hospital.  Melissa has also worked as a professor at Texas A&M University for many years.  She is a member of the American Urological Association, Texas Nurse Practitioners and Pediatric Urologic Nurse Specialists.

Melissa is married and has two sons.  In her time off she enjoys horseback ridingand fishing and hunting with the family.
